Tell a friend you believe in her and she will  become a better person.
I sit outside my door.
I guess I'm waiting for
But all that comes
Is wind and rain.
Oh, how it numbs
With tears and pain,
And years that wane.

I found you in a dream
But now I know
Love does not redeem
Or joy bestow.
It just comes to go,
Hit and miss,
Leaving woe.

It’s clear times have changed;
Love’s not forever anymore.
Healthy, sick, rich, deranged,
Love always streams out my door,
Leaving me poorer than before.

Your spark empowered life.
Your harp played in my night.
You were the one who cheered me on
When the world seemed bent and wrong.
Now days are short, nights are long.

I sit outside my door.
I guess I’m waiting for
More than this.
But all that comes
Are fears and rain.
Oh, how it numbs
With tears and pain,
And years that wane.

I found you in a dream
But now I know
Love does not redeem
Or joy bestow.
It just comes to go,
Hit and miss, leaving woe.
More than This
