| The above photos were taken at the Oklahoma Writers Federation Inc. (OWFI) Awards Ceremonies in 2004 and 2005 by my friend and fellow Crossroads writer Neil Mavis, author of Deorbit the Space Shuttle, Stem Cell Rescue, a sci-fi thriller. Included in the pictures are more Crossroads Writers buddies from our legendary oblong table--Carolyn Steele, author of No Chance and several other historical novels; Mattie Sue Athan, who wrote the best-selling Guide to a Well-Behaved Parrot and much more; Laura Popp, sci-fi novelist and playwright.
